My DS#1 (will be 5 in December) can recognize quite many numbers, (pretty much up to 999). He has just started adding number by 1, and doing pretty good at it too. Now DS#2 (just turned 3 on Aug 25) can only recognize the numbers from 0-9. We're working on it slowly tho.

Parker is preschool and he recognizes 20 and up. Wyndser is 2 1/2 and can count to 20, but she doesn't read the numbers yet. I'm still working with her on her alphabet before worrying about numbers.

That's where we are too. The other day she (dd is 2.5) pointed to and identified the # 10!! We were amazed!

Marcus recognizes numbers and will read address on houses and buildings or cars when we are out. He will say for example, 1-1, eleven, 1-2, twelve. He can count to 100, but I don't think he knows by sight 1-100. He just turned 4.

Ds is almost 5 and knows all his numbers...in montessori they work on single digits, then tens, twenties, etc. I also quiz him in the morning what time it is on my digital clock to get him to recogize "seven twenty seven" instead of "seven 2-7". We do the same with Freeway exit signs, Ex. 166 I say, "Exit one hundred and sixty six" or "one sixty-six" instead of 1-6-6.

My 4 year old knows to 100, we haven't worked higher yet. Both sight, counting and writing. Can do simple addition and subtraction (1-10). Up to 20 in spanish She's very good with math, gets that from my husband not me!
my 2 year old can recognize and count to 20 but normally misses 13 and/or 14. and up to ten in spanish.
