Ask:
Just wondering how many extra curricular activities your kids participate in at one time (per season or such)
Answer:
Joe is only in half day kindergarten right now. Otherwise, he may do a sport. I'm sure when he gets older, I may have him participate in more. alot will depend on him.
Answer:
Ds is half day KG too, he does Karate on Saturdays and that is it. I might participate him in Soccer in the summer, but have to see if it clashes with karate.

My kids are pretty active!!! They have TaeKwanDo all year, bowling during school, dd plays volleyball and school golf, ds's all wrestle and take swimming lessons and are in boy scouts, dd was in a after school enrichment club, oldest ds was in flag football, they play t-ball (or baseball depending on the kid), chess club, seems like there should be more, but I can't remember!! Heck even my 3 yr old loves his ECFE classes!!! We like to be a busy, active family!!! Oh, yeah, there are church activities and confirmation and Sunday School classes too!

My kids are pretty active, we haven't had to limit activities...if their grades were suffering or they weren't enjoying themselves, we would. I think it's great they want to try so many things. They're usually doing two things at a time, but sometimes more, it really just depends. Like right now they're doing swim team (but that's a year round endeavor) and my younger son is doing art classes at the art museum and my older son is finishing up fall baseball. They are both in choir at church as well.
Answer:
We try and keep it at a Maximum of 2 things at a time, only 1 if we can help it. Right now DD (1st grade) is doing a 6 week cheerleading camp-which ended yesterday- thru the PTO and does tumbling. In January she will do 5 weeks of skiing which will again overlap w/ the tumbling.
Answer:
wow, I couldn't believe it was even 4. we have religion, fitness club, dance, girl scouts. we were thinking of starting swimming back up but now I'm thinking we should give up something in order to maintain sanity. this is just for the girls in school. my youngest (3) is in dance only.
ok, after reading Happymom reply I forgot the school enrichment classes, but they are only for one month.

Answer:
Riley is in half day Kindergarten too. He was having soccer practice on Mondays and Thursdays with games on Saturdays. Now we are down to one practice a week and games on Saturdays.
I've looked into Karate but have not found any studios that i really like. I want to get him into an art class too.
I'm thinking of doing some sort of tumbling class for my three year old too.
Answer:
Right now as young as they are I only put them in one thing at a time. Right now we are in nothing b/c soccer is over and we aren't doing more until spring. When they are older I'll let them be in 2 at a time.
