Ask:
How much money do you spend on each child for birthday presents?
Answer:
We usually spend about $50. Sometimes a little more, but not much more.
Answer:
Well, my oldest is going to be 4 so I haven't had to many yet. But it depends I think more about what I think he will like, then I shop for the cheapest price. But only 1 gift!
Answer:
I try to keep it reasonable. It usually falls somewhere between $20-$30.
Answer:
It really depends on the kid and what they want. My oldest dd wants an Ipod. Well that is probably what she will get and that is $150. My youngest I usually only spend around $30 because he is 3 and doesn't have big expensive wants. My in between kids, it really depends. Last year my 8 yr old really wanted the Heroscape game that was $45. So that is what he got along with a few other little things. This year he does not want anything as expensive.
Answer:
ya know I'm not sure, so I put $200 plus. Depends on the item(s) we get them, but it's always ends up over $100 Plus party, definetly hits over $200. I budget $350 for presents and party and it all works itself out
Answer:
It really depends on what they're wanting, as they get older, what they want is more expensive...I indicated $200 + but again, it really depends.
Answer:
I indicated $25 and under, but then I remembered that we usually go to see a show for her birthday and that usually winds up to be around $100 all told. Last year it was the Incredibles on Ice and this year it will be The Nutcracker. I guess that is where it comes in good to have only one child It is a good thing that we can negotiate the party thing. Her birthday lands too close to Christmas to allow for so many gifts. Our house usually looks like a toy store exploded most of the time anyway.
Last year we had a party where everyone brought a gift to be donated to the homeless shelter in a local area. She had a great time with her friends and learned an important lesson about helping others along the way.
If I buy toys it always comes to under $25 though. She will be five in about 3 weeks! Woohoo!
Answer:
we maybe spend 40 maximum on our kids birthday presents right now. as they get older that will increase as they want more expensive items. and we don't go all outo nparties either. the kids come here andplay games, and have cake and open presents.
Answer:
This is a great topic. I find that even just a few little things makes them happy. ALthough mine are still young, 6, 2, and 1. I agree that once they become older we will be spending more on them So for right now it is $25-50 on each.
