Do you try to keep the holidays simple at your house, or do you go to a lot of parties and events?
I get burned out and try to only do a few things so we aren't running around like mad. How about the rest of you?

We are MAXED out this year..but I am excited over it!! I think that all the hustle and bustle among family and friends is what the holidays is all about!!

We go to a lot of holiday parties, Dh's company usually has a few corporate events, cocktail parties to black tie dinners and we usually to go to all that stuff. And then friends and family that have holidays parties and sometimes we host one or two as well! It's so fun! We love going out though, we try to go to everything we can! We always have such a good time.

We just moved so this will be our first Christmas without family, so we don't have much scheduled, there are a few things I want to do as a family like see the lights at the zoo, go to a holiday show. I would like to have a holiday open house for DH's work so we could meet more people, but we will have to see how the budget goes!

Well, I voted for 0-3 but I just remembered we have 4 this year. But it's all family because we have a HUGE family between the both of us. It seems to get harder and harder every year to fit everyone in.

We are try to keep this simple, but with family out of state, we seem to spend a lot of our holidays driving all over the place! We make a conscious effort to have time for ourselves.

We do about 6...5 of them related to DH's work...I find it exhausting because while I know the people at these functions, I don't know them super well...a lot of small talk which can totally drain me. Plus, I always have to find something to wear. Always a crisis for me

We used to do more family event, but it has dwindled down to only 2. Does that count Christmas Day? Because we go to both out Mom's on Christmas day, but only 2 extended family events during the season!
DH doesn't have any work functions.
