I usually watch it but this season I keep missing it. apparently it's not good enought for me to remember. anyone willing to give a recap?

It's not a memoriable season at all! So far everyone I have liked, except for Ozzy, has been voted off. A few weeks ago they gave the teams (before the merge in last weeks episode) the option of switching teams. Candance and Jonathan left their tribe (with Ozzy, Yul, Sondra and Becky) to join the other tribe (Parvati, Nate-voted off last week I liked him too, the guy I call Ken- can't remember his name and etc.). Well the tribe that those 2 left from kept winning immunity (Thank God!). They merged last week and the one tribe with Jonathan and them wanted to vote off Yul (since Ozzy won the individual immunity), Yul talked to Jonathan (he told him that he had the immuntiy idol & showed him) about voting off "Ken" and Jonathan didn't feel right doing it cause when his head was on the chopping block- he saved him and they chose to vote off Nate (Yul told Jonathan to either vote with them or be voted off- the other tribe planned on voting him off, but if he showed that he had the idol the person with the next most votes would be voted off). This weeks episode looks good- the tribe that was the underdogs (Ozzy'z team) had Jonathan switch alliance to their tribe and Jonathan's old tribe mates are going to freak out on him! They need to vote off one more from the other tribe and then get rid of Jonathan (he seems very devious- like Richard Hatch, just to think that snake made survivor what it is today with the alliances!). That about sums it up! This is just a quickie- like i said before not too memoriable!

Candice got voted off last night. It was an auction reward challenge- they offered a thing that a person can take charge of the game (you could borrow money from someone else), Becky beat out Candace and was able to take someones money and send them to exile island (she chose Candace) and Yul came out to everyone that he has the immunity idol. Jonathan made a pig of himself and was gross- he really started showing his true colors (arrogant and ignorant and loud). "Ken", I can't believe I forgot his name already, won immunity and after the immuntity challenge, he Candance and Parvarti talked to Yul about voting off Jonathan (and everyone else but Jonathan) and said to Yul that they knew he was the ring leader and they will be on the jury and they will make sure he does not win the $. Jonathan came back and heard them talking- he was out fishing. He and Yul & the gang made a fire (got the wood for the fire too!) and cooked the fish. They started eating without telling "Ken" and the girls (who don't do anything!). Candace came out and was yelling at Jonathan about how rude it was of them and that no one likes him etc. Needless to say we won't see "Ken" and Candace making out anymore! I do hope however that they get rid of Jonathan or "ken" and them are able to turn on to get people to turn onYul (he thinks he's got this in the bag!) and make him get rid of the immunity idol and get him out! I want Ozzy to win! Sorry so long- it was a good episode!

personally i really liked this past weeks episode...finally something other than the ordinary happened! so much mental play.
but did anyone catch this...if whats his face - adam- would have given his honey the immunity, then isnt the rule that the person next to go is the one with the second most votes? and that would have been jonathan. duh!
well in the end, i like jonathan because he is, to me, a real person. obnoxious at times but remember, he is older and he is bothered by the younger "kids" and how lazy they are (and they are) i would be too. and he's remembering that its A GAME! i keep thinking to every final vote televised live and the jury always says ultimately "they vote for the person who plays the game the best...who outwits, outplays and outwhatever"
i like yul but i think he's trying to be too "corporate" about it. personally i want becky to win cause i think she's so darn cute!

i think the reason why the newer survivors are more boring is because they are always in a tropical location so its always the same surroundings and they dont get into the personal lives anymore and show more of living at the camp. it seems that the episodes are so predicatable - a few minutes of nightvision after the walk back from tribal counsel, the morning after campfire fight of who got voted off, the reward challenge, the reward footage, the immunity challenge, the scramble to see who is being voted off then the vote...repeat!
remember the earlier survivors when we learned more about the people? i think thats what made it better. i thought australia was cool too - though those people almost starved! remember when they weighed them and elizabeths hair was falling out??? remember s-africa when they lived in a circle camp and they took turns at night keeping watch for lions? how cool!

Crazykelly- thanks for "ken's" name- Adam- how in the world do I keep forgetting his name? Anyways, I agree about the location. I always though it would be cool if they did another location, like Alaska just to switch it up! I agree about Yul being "corporate". I hope that Ozzy wins though (I think he is soo cute!). I am gonna have trouble watching it tonight though- I may have to ask who is watching it tonight what happened (interfering with a football game!).

If they did it in a cold setting how would the girls parade around in their bikinis? I also really want Ozzy to win. I was torn between him and Yul until last week when Yul was talking about who he wanted to take to the final two. Like it was guaranteed. I thought it was priceless when they ate the fish w/o the other 3. I was a little disappointed in Ozzy for not backing Jonathan up on that one, but my dh says Ozzy is playing it smart right now in being low key, not drawing attention to himself. Ozzy shouldn't have any problems with the physical challenges, it's the mental ones I'm afraid he will loose. But, I am hopful those 4 will stay true to each other until the end. I think the mutiny really bonded them together.
