I am having such a hard time staying interested lately. Is anyone else feeling this way?? They are turning Shawn into such a blech (what? New actor so lets change the character altogether??), the storyline with EJ and Patrick is dragging out, and I can NOT even tell you how SICK I am of Chelsea.
I hope they get things moving again. There was a time not too long ago when I couldn't miss an episode....now not so much.

I feel the same. The character of Chelsea just doesn't make sense. She feels bad one minute and wants to atone, then the next, she's back to tricks again. That woman needs some mood stabilization drugs! And yes, they are ruining Shawn. They made Belle into such a Biotch and now she wants to atone. Just no sense. Now, Renee Jones, Lexi has been let go. Not a good move. In truth, I don't care if EJ is a Dimera. Who cares? He doesn't have the charm or humor that Stefano and Tony have - that devilment in the eye. They should have kept Frankie and put him with his real-life wife, Billie. Having her with Steve, pulling him from Kayla, just doesn't do it for me. And this happy hooker thing? They've done that so many times before. Do you even care about Stephanie? I don't. She's supposed to be this big time race car driver and acts like a baby around her parents. I just can't warm up to that actress. Now Philip is getting a face transplant. Why bother? We already know the actor wanted out, so they would recast. Guess they'll transplant the body and voice, too. Maybe they'll kidnap Shawn and use his face so Belle can have Philip and Shawn all in one!!

I have to agree--the show just isn't holding my interest. If I watch 2 times in the week--I'm good. I've been watching shows that I DVR'd during Days time--something I would never do before.

Kelli, my long lost sister....Just last night I was watching yesterdays episode (I tivo it and then watch it before bed) and as I was fast forwarding through most of it I thought to myself, I don't think I'm going to TIVO this anymore, I'll just catch it whenever I can. It's just not that interesting! Desertmom summed it all up very well! The Chelsea character just kills me...take away the computer, cell phone and lock her in her room for a month, or 5. What parent lets their kid get away with all that she has done, and all that she has said(to Billie) ??!!

I'm so glad to hear that someone else is feeling the same way I have been. I have actually been unhappy with both of my soaps, Days of Our Lives and Young and The Restless. Both seem to have really boring storylines going right now. I tape both of these shows and then watch them when I am on my treadmill at night. I'm having a really hard time not getting bored on my treadmill.
Hopefully they will see the ratings drop soon and figure it out.

I just took it of my Season Pass on Tivo. I was the same way. The shows kept building up on the tivo because I had no interest in watching any of the storylines, and I would just end up deleting them anyway!

I'm really tired of Patrick......... I was hoping he'd turn a little "fatal attraction" like with Hope just to spice things up a bit.
As for Chelsea - can't stand her - I wish she'd go away. I agree about Stephanie - there just isn't anything about her character I like. Kind of like Willow - she irritates me too.
Did anyone see that ugly shirt Belle was wearing this week? Purple and black plaid thing with the black lace that looked like a bra? Ick!

I stopped really watching it when they did the story line of phillip in the war, I just dont think that with all that our country is going through and how many families are losing thier loved ones each and every day I dont think it is appropriate to make light of such a serious topic, and to turn something as serious as war into a story line for a soap.
