Framing a crossstich

Ask:
I recieved a crossstich thing for my daughter's birth. My cousin-in-law made it and then bought a frame from Michael's and didn't get it stretched, so it looks VERY wrinked in the frame. I was wondering it there was anyway to stretch or fix this myself or do I need to take it and get it stretched and professionally framed?

Thanks.
Answer:

My husband has done several cross stitched things while he was trying to stop smoking. I found a sticky board that the cross stitch sticks to as you stretch it. It was made for framing cross stiching. I made sure the glue was of archival quality. I have one that has been framed for years and still looks as good as it did the first day.
Answer:

Great! I had no idea that it existed. I will check my Michael's and Ben Franklin and hope I can find it.
Answer:

I do the same thing as ty&nessie'smom, it usually works great. I know my Michael's usually has it right with the cross stitch stuff.
