Last week was our week for School holiday concerts!!! DD is in the 8th grade Choir. She wanted to sing in the concert at here old school so I drove her there on Monday night (1 1/2 hours away!) The concert was wonderful!!! I was really suprised because they actually sang some Christmas songs at a public school. The best one was Prince of Peace which totally shocked me because it is definitely a Christian song. They did sign language with that song too. I was proud of dd!! Since she had been gone from this school for 2 weeks, she did not know any of the choreography or the sign language, but she followed along so well that no one could even tell!!! (and she was in the front row!!)
My 1st and 2nd graders participated in the concerts with their new schools. They were good too. Both were Santa type themed. I guess the 2nd grade here does not do a holiday concert, only a spring concert.

I was surprised when we switched to the school we are in that it was a "Christmas" concert....not a holiday concert.
I am glad your daughter did so well. It was really nice for her (I bet) to be able to participate in the old school's program.
