Ask:
ok ds wants to bring brownies for his christmas party at school anything i can do to them to spruce them up for the holidays...i just don't want to bring plain old brownies....tia
Answer:
Reynolds wrap is selling foils in different shapes- I just made "star" shaped brownies for my sons school- (they were studying the solar system)
I can not remeeber the other shapes I saw- or you can use cookie cutters and cut them out once you made them
Answer:
The Reynolds individual foil pans is a good idea, I think they have a couple Xmas shapes, too, and that would be cute! If you want something to add to the brownies, what about mixing in some red & green M&M's? Or making a cheesecake topping for them (8 oz cream cheese, one egg, one tsp vanilla, and 1/3 cup sugar mixed and drizzled over the top before baking) and adding a little green food coloring? Or even just a can of vanilla icing, half tinted green and half red and put in ziplocs and piped over them, your son could even help with that!
