Infant and toddler daycare?

Ask:
What do you look for for infant and toddler daycare? Do you prefer home or center based. How important are educational activities?
Answer:

I have my kids in a preschool/daycare center. They have a structured daily schedule and my 11 mo. old is practically saying EIEIO from hearing that song there everyday. My oldest now almost 5, is so advanced in learning, she could prob. be in 1st grade and pass. I feel like they've taught her so much there. I would have preferred a home for my 11 mo. old but I got a discount for having 2 kids at the center and I trusted them as my oldest has been there since she was 1 1/2. I am very fortunate to have found them.
Answer:

For infant and toddler care i would look for a small in home daycare. I would want to see lots of music., reading and play. To me music...singing, playing kids instruments and lots and lots of reading is the most important at this time. I also think learning fine motor skills and that sort of t hing isvery important too. Building blocks and climbing toys for the toddlers. Outdoor play is good too.

I think at that age they will learn so much by playing.

As they hit three and up i would want to see more crafty things and perhaps a curriculum of some sort.
