Ask:
3/4 of my clothes have been packed away for more than a month since before we moved. I decided that I probably dont' need most of them so I went through what I had already unpacked and then unpacked several more boxes and I have a huge pile on my bet to give to goodwill!!! I still have almost a whole tote full of scrubs, but I want to hang on to them just a bit longer in case I end up working back in the medical field. If I find a different job, I will EBay them!!! I feel good now!
Answer:
Good for you!!! It's always nice to weed out what you don't want or need!!! Gives a sence of accomplishment when i do it.
Answer:
Inspirational! Good job!
Answer:
Me too! I'm going to go through my closet and get rid of everything I haven't worn in a year. (Except my 'funeral' outfit and my 'wedding' outfit... no one died or was married in my circles this year.)
I just read this tonight in the January edition of O. "Remember that 80 percent of the time we wear only 20 percent of our clothes" Chris McKenry. I find that so inspirational for getting rid of more stuff!

Well, the three bags of "fat clothes" I bagged up last month finally went to Goodwill last week. It felt really good, but I am still scared a bit. I guess after three years (well, almost four, but a pregnancy and surgery there, too) I have gone back up in size so I should just accept it.
So, now I have just my current sized clothes. No maternity (those have been gone awhile) and no clothes in my former size. So, I cannot gain any weight! lol
Good for you, Sheryl! I try to go through and do the "have not worn it in a year" rule, too. That is easier than the "fat clothes" purge for me for some reason.
Answer:
I just got rid of all of my "fat" clothes, too. I am so used to having a closet with about four different sizes that it felt weird getting rid of them. I'm hoping that it will be my motivation to stay on WW. I also love looking at my empty closet!!!
I did the same with DH's clothes...anything we haven't worn in the past year is GONE! It's nice to have so much space. No more clothes are stored under our bed.

Can you come to my house and help me out lol. I have so many clothes its unbelieveable. I have come to the conclusion that everything thats hanging in the closet never gets worn so out it should go and all my baby clothes are on their way out the door tooo thank goodness for Jess and saying she could use them and my neighbor has a friend who needs boy clothes so all my baby stuff will be gone woohoo and that is an achievement amoungst itself now just to get rid of all the other clothes that dont fit or get worn lol. With hubby being gone and not here to wear any of his clothes I realized how much he has also and his dresser will be cleaned out also since I can not even clothes the drawers lol. The best part is I am getting my 10yo and 3yo to help out telling them the clothes are gonna go to little girls that need them more than we do and she brings me everything now saying can we give this to the little girls that need toys too cause we dont need it anymore lol now if I could just get some speed for like a week and get my whole house cleaned from top to bottom and emptied out it would be great i just need to hire a personal organizer to help me get organized cause that is smething that is deffinately not in my profile lol.We should alll make a train and go from one house to the next helping each other out and man we would have a bunch of shinney houses lol.

I sorted through a ton of stuff right before Christmas so now I just need to get it out of the garage and list it on Ebay. I did decide though if it doesnt sell after being relisted one time its gone to good will. No sense in keeping it around it its not going to sell, right? My next goal is to get the rest of the kids clothes sorted out and see where they are at clothes wise. Its seems like every few months I have to sort through their clothes and then they end up w/ nearly nothing that still fits. After that I am going to try and part w/ some clothes that Ive had for about 5-10 yrs that are too small. I was hoping that one day I would be able to fit into them again but Im not sure that its going to happen now that Ive had kids. So its really just clutter hanging out in my closet!
Although, I do have to say even when you get a little bit sorted out to go somewhere else it feel wonderful! Like you just had a load lifted off of you!
Answer:
I went thru my closets and got rid of a bunch of stuff! I did two "27 fling boogies" in there. I was inspired by kathryn... I kept thinking of her dh and his very sparse closet! I kept telling myself, "I really don't even LIKE this... I don't NEED this one... this one is always a poor fit... etc.."
I'm getting better!
