For those trying to live the simple life, how many purses do you own?
I own two.
One evening purse for weddings / funerals, etc that I inherited from my Grandmother and one regular everyday purse.

Hmmm, probably about 15 or more for me. I tend to buy one for everyday use and use it for a year or more and then move on to another one. I keep them because I spend a lot of money on them, so I store them in their sleeper bags. I return to them here and there and carry them for a while again. I have a few evening purses but to tell you the truth, I end up not wanting to bring a purse to an event because I don't want to deal with it. DH just carries my lipstick in his pocket.

I have three. One was bought at a thrift shop for 5$ , it is worth about 125.$ so thats why I bought it. The other was a gift about three yrs ago it also worth about 125. used. and I have a coach that was a gift about 1.5 yrs ago. It worth about 300.$ used. I keep them becuase they all are in great shape and I can ebay them if I need cash. I only use the coach.

I don't really know how many I have. At least 15 I would say. I have a hard time finding the right one that works for me to use for work & for being at home & toting the boys around. The one I'm using now I just bought for myself at Target for Christmas. It's a black sachel/hobo looking bag. It doesn't have as many pockets as I would like, but I like it. I usually like to have a pocket or 2 on the outside of the purse to keep chapstick, gum, change & my compact in.

I have waaaaay too many. But I think it is because I can never find one I really like. I think I like it at first, and then it starts to drive me crazy: it won't stay on my shoulder, there are too many compartments, there are too little compartments, it doesn't match my outfits...... the list goes on and on. My MIL got me a cat print purse with fringe for my birthday. Unfortunately, I am still using it.

I only have 2 one for spring/summer and fall/winter. However the one I am using now I bought at Target but it really is to small and I am really considering getting a bigger one. I hardly ever go anywhere fancy enough to justify owning an eveing bag however I have a really good friend who always has plenty of a selection to borrow from!

I have about 10, the worst part is that I haven't used any of them for almost 2 years, the diaper bag has become my new "purse of choice" I end up just sticking my wallet in between all the diapers etc.!

Me, too. I just don't care about what they look like, I guess. Oops! I do have two right now because I got one for Christmas that is an FSU one.
