It seems like a toddler thing that they just won't leave socks or anything on their feet!!! Heck, I can have socks and slippers on and still have cold feet and grandson is running around barefoot and have warm feet.

I wish that were the case in my house. DD is just like me. My hands and feet are ALWAYS cold...so are her's. It's weird.

A side note- one of my pet peeves is seeing young babies out without socks on!!! I can not believe that a mom would not put socks on a baby- I do not care how hot or cold it is outside

DD's used to be like that (I wish they still were when she climbs in our bed at 2am!! ). She still doesn't like to keep socks or shoes on in the house, even if her feet are like ice!

Little diva gets cold feet! Brrrr. Yet, a sock goes on, a sock comes off. However, I put those Robeez on her when we go out - she hasn't figured out how to get those off yet. At home, it is best to let them go barefoot, anyway, while they are learning to walk. The feet need to grow. Hopefully your house isn't too cold.
Bluejay, your post made me giggle. When ds was a baby, I had him out for a walk with dh in his stroller. An older lady came up and grabbed his toes making a comment about how he should have socks on. Ummm.. we live in Arizona, and the temp was 80-90. Believe me, that's plenty warm enough not to have to wear socks. He always got too hot as it was. But our local BabiesRUs always has it's air on - it's a big warehouse store, and always chilly. Good for preggo moms, bad for little babies. I can't believe how many babies I see there with no sleeves, no blanket, no socks, etc. I'm talking little babies! Their skin is all mottled and they look cold!

Aidan always takes his off too. He's watched DH and learned how to take them off standing up. He's hot natured like DH though, and I'm the cold natured one.
