Ask:
How many of you fantasize about winning the lottery, dh getting a huge raise or inheriting a large sum of cash from a relative? How many of you actually somewhat believe these fantasies? Admit it: Do they make you spend more and prevent you from getting out of debt?
Answer:
Oh that is a great question! And funny too!
I buy the big state lottery tickets once a week. One week I was so convinced that I was going to win that I had it all written out on paper how much was going to who and what we would buy and do with it! I was at work and needless to say a little bored and pregnant at the time and worried about money. But I actually went to bed dreaming I was going to wake up a millionaire! Talk about being a dork!!! I didn't even win one dollar!!!
Answer:
Well, I fantasize about it, but will never win because I never buy a ticket. I think over the past year, I bought one lottery ticket.
Answer:
It's fun to fanasize about those things, but I don't bank my future on it. My dh has bought the occassional lottery ticket (had to buy it in Tennessee because stupid Alabama doesn't have a lottery) and there is a possibility that I could inherit some money from relatives, but I'm not sitting by and waiting for these things to happen. We live frugally now and save for our future. We don't just sit back and hope for a windfall from a relative or a lottery.
Answer:
I would love to win the lottery. Of course I can see the downsides of it, family and friend issues, safety, etc. But I think it would be wonderful. However I rarely buy a lottery ticket. If its up around 200+ million then I will otherwise I don't.
How funny that I'm snubbing anything under 200 million. Geez. In reality I'd be happy with 200. What a dork!
Answer:
Yep, we have great plans for spending our winnings. Heck I don't even want to win the big one, just a couple hundred thousand would be more than enough. Lately I have been fantisizing about coming into 20 thousand!!!
Answer:
Of course! Who doesn't?! Heck, I've had fantasies about an extra few thousand! But like Starlite, I'd never bank my future on it!
And yes, we do buy the occasional lottery ticket.
Answer:
Who does't??
Answer:
i have the fantasy of winning millions....that way i could stay home with my son and enjoy him growing up instead of working the day away............
Answer:
I fantasize all the time about winning a million or two. But I've never bought a lottery ticket. In my dream, my parents or in-laws (who both buy lottery tickets) win, and share there winnings with us!
