Ask:
Pleas help! I have some leftover turkey that I'd like to use up. Does anyone have an easy and low-cal recipe that would call for turkey? TIA
Answer:
I have an easy recipe I just used the other night. I found it on the Stove Top website so better double check there to make sure on the amounts. Basically the recipe was:
3 cups cooked turkey cut up (I used less - probably closer to 2 cups)
1 bag frozen broccoli (I think I used a bigger bag that it said to)
1 can cheese soup
3/4 cup milk
1 box stuffing
1 2/3 cup water (It was a little mushier than I liked so I will use less next time)
Add water to stuffing - set aside.
Mix turkey & broccoli in 13x9 baking dish. Mix soup and milk well together and pour over turkey. Top with prepared stuffing.
Bake 30 min. at 350 degrees.
I thought it was tasty, easy and nutritious. I knew my DS wouldn't eat it - doesn't like stuffing - so I made it when he was gone. It made enough for 5 large servings for me so I've put some in the freezer to grab for future lunches.
