Ask:
I just finished my latest decorating project: A time zone wall. I bought four clocks and placed the names of three big cities plus our hometown under each one, then set the clocks accordingly. I LOVE IT! I just wanted to share the idea. I think the reason I like it best is that I don't know anybody else who has done one.

This is a really neat idea to help kids think about family that lives far away too. A couple years ago, after visiting my sister and parents who are both in the Eastern time zone, my DS often commented throughout the day on what time it was where the cousins live or at grandma and grandpa's house. Great idea!

oh that is a good idea!
I have family in Paksitan and the UK and USA, so It would be good to have them all showing and it would make it easier for my in laws to figure out what time it is!!

Very cute Kim!! I've always liked those walls when I've seen them in catalogues, but never thought of doing one of my own.
As an aside....I looked at this link a week or so ago and was interested in it, so I'd like to know how easy it was to apply the words. We have an office (supposed to be anyway) that we've made a music room. We have a grand piano, and my dd keeps her cello in there. Well for years we've talked about trying to stencil on the walls either the names of classical composers (mozart, beethoven, etc) or the words to a song like "My Favorite Things". But I'm so undomestic and it always sounded like so much work that we've never done it. But when I saw this, I showed my dd and we were both interested. But I was wondering 1) how hard to do for the domestically challenged? and 2) does it really look like stencil or can you tell it's a peel off? Thanks so much!!
