I am new to being a Moderator and I would like to know "Which one are YOU??"
I have gone through a divorce with two children, and I have since remarried and have a baby. I know how tough it is to be a divorced mom and take care of two children by yourself. As well as, having to deal with an ex husband and start a new life with a new husband, all the while sharing custody with the older kids.
I would like to know which mommy's on here on in a similar situation and what topics you would like to see to help you cope with your situation.

I have been divorced for about 1.5 years. Before that my DH worked all the time in the restaurant business so he was not home much so I also understand the 'married but single parenting' spin.
I think this forum can just provide support for those times when it gets really tough to be parenting alone. I am the only one of my close friends that is divorced so my other friends don't really 'get it'. Some things you just have to have gone through to really understand. There are some unique issues of being a mom and being alone.
I'm at a point now where I'd really like to start dating more but having a child and dating has lots of hurdles. I'd like input on how others have dealt with these issues. The first couple of months I was on the board I honestly didn't think there were any other single moms here so I appreciate this forum to discuss single parenting issues.

Well, I don't fit into any of those categories, but have some issues with my grandson that are similar to divorce since we have shared custody with the other grandparents. I myself have been married for almost 22 yrs.

I am new to all this separation/divorce stuff since DH (not dear) left in December. I am newly separated, but have sole responsibility since he doesn't want all the responsibility of marriage and parenting. Since I was a SAHM, I am now looking for a job as well as holding it all together for the kids. So I guess I am still in the numb stage. I am fortunate that I have my mom and family around to support me emotionally, but the financial stuff scares me the most right now.

I am divorced (No kids and an extremely short marriage at that) and re-married to Dh who has also been divorced and I am a step mom to an almost 13 year old. We live out of state now so it is MUCH different than the past few years when we literally lived down the road from SS and the ex.
