I wish I could get my dh onto this- I should explain better. DH can't stand clutter and when he cleans (about 1x a year- he will pitch everything `he threw out a box new box of candles because I was not home to tell him where the "home" for it was, BTW I was at a family reunion he refused to go to- the sad thing was that they were in their home). Anyways~ sorry to be sidetracked, he does not touch his stuff. He has no problems throwing out perfectly good stuff of mine and the girls- and he never touches his things- drives me nuts. I actually said something to him about it when we visited his parents. He said 'hey you are homeall day I work- throw out what ever you want as long as it isn't for hunting fishing and my tools'- well in that case I am going to go nuts with his "stuff".
