To keep your oil-based salad dressings stuck to the greens and stop them from pooling at the bottom of the bowl, heat the dressing in the microwave for ten seconds before using. That's it!
Crayon-free Walls
(I wish I had found these tips two months ago. I can't attest to any of these as the fix-all, but they're worth a try right?)
~ Use a plain pink eraser to erase the markings (more for small spots I'd think!)
~ Spray area with WD40 and rub off with a soft cloth.
~ Apply plain white toothpaste (you know you have 17 tubes of it in your stockpile!) and leave it on for half an hour. Wipe off with a dry cloth.
~ Take a blow dryer to the crayon marks for 5 to 10 seconds, then wipe with a clean dry towel.
Icky Clogged Drain
~Use denture cleaning tablets to remove that icky grease build-up from kitchen drains. Just drop a couple tablets down the kitchen drain, along with a cup of hot water.
~If your drain is clogged with grease, pour one cup of salt and one cup of baking soda into the drain followed by a kettle of boiling water. This should do the trick! (And is great for those of us who don't have denture cleaning tablets on hand at 11:30 at night when the sink clogs up! )
