Luke's Evaluation

Ask:
We went today for his preliminary evaluation. Basically it was another testing like the preschool screening he failed so miserably at our old school. This was so much better though!! It was not in a gym and there were two very patient women working with him. They let him sit on my lap since he was being shy. They told him he could play with the toys when they were all done. He cooperated wonderfully. The speech pathologist is supposed to call me to set up an in depth speech evaluation (which I knew he needed). I also have to fill out some paperwork and return it, then they will pool all the information and make recommendations. I just hope it doesn't take too long!!!
Answer:

Answer:

Answer:

The right place and people can make all the difference. I'm so glad it worked better. We try so hard to make our children fit into life, but sometimes, life has to fit into our child.
Answer:

I was glad to read your second eval went well. It's amazing what can happen when the right people are available and willing to help.

Keep us posted!
Answer:

Please keep us up to date with what happens. I am so happy that he sat in your lap and was with his mommy. The right people and the right time.
