I can't believe how much I have gotten done. I don't know whether to be thrilled or devestated!? Am I THAT bad?!?!
Now, did I get done what I thought I would? NOPE! Dh actually looked at me today and just raised his eyebrows. I told him, "Do you know how Santa spoke not a word, but went straight to his work? Well, Santa was a wise man!". He took the hint and went to his office! He was laughing, though, because my usual list of things to do didn't get done today. Instead, I did weird things and have cleaned ALL day in weird areas! I did the laundry room closet, the kids' bookshelves, the boys' room, part of the girls' room. I organized my bartering/ebay stuff. I organized all of the kids' school supplies to see what we have left. I set up a seperate shelf of stuff they can color with/on. I cleaned out all my craft boxes and got down to only one! I have almost ALL laundry done. I made a hairbow holder for my youngest two girls, and I went through and threw out all the icky ones, hanging the rest. AND, I had my six kids and a friend's two more all day! Did I get MY room and bathroom done? No. Do I have the laundry all put away? No. BUT, I feel so good about getting all the "behind the scenes" stuff cleaned up. I think it will be easier to get the rest of it done tomorrow now. I have places to put it all...you know, that foreign concept of the RIGHT places are cleaned out to put it!!! I have been totally sad that the boards were off all day, kind of like being grounded, ya' know, BUT maybe I need to be grounded more often!!!

Answer:
Four loads of laundry (folded and mostly put away)
Changed the sheets on our bed
Shoveled the driveway (we got 8 inches on snow Sun. night)
and let the kids have friends over to play with
Read a little bit of my book
Of course I think I could probably have had time to drop in on the forums had they been working, too!

Alot of my day was spent shoveling snow!!! UGH!!!! We had a ton!! I also cleaned the bathrooms, but I could not do too much because the kids were here all day.

I had about 12 people visiting (plus the 5 of us). @ came Friday evening, and spent the night, then the other 10 came over Saturday night for dinner and they all spent the night, then I made them breakfast and lunch on Sunday. After lunch when they left, I started my laundry and washing all the sheets and pillow cases and towels that were used by all these guests. I also had my weekly laundry to do. I can't even count how many loads of laundry I did. I spent Monday cleaning up the rest of the house. I can surely tell you that by the time I got done, my house looked like one of those look but don't touch places.

I cleaned on Sun while it snowed. My SIL came over with her kids yesterday and played. I didn't clean ANYTHING

Put up bunk beds in the boys' room, put together a train table and the train set on top, started going through all the toys to store or organize. I also made lasagna for the first time! yeah me!!!!
