Ask:
DS has been eating a lot more big people food over the last 2 weeks, and I have also started him on 1/2 formula, 1/2 homo milk combo (day 3). He is 11 months, 1 week old.
I've noticed that for the past 10 days, his poop seems to be much softer. It's more schmeery (like peanut butter consistency) than poop shaped! Is this normal?
He eats and drinks well and his mood/attitude hasn't changed so I am assuming that it is because of the change in diet.
Anyone else have this happen?
Answer:
ANY change in diet will affect ANYONE's "poop"! You are totally right in it being normal!
Answer:
Yes, completely normal - as far as my 12 mo. dd goes. Her poop is different every day!
Answer:
As long as it's not really green or mucousy, there shouldn't be a problem. By the way, green could be caused by food coloring, like in icing, so don't be alarmed at first - try to figure out the source. Otherwise, mucous and green could mean an allergy.
Answer:
. . . changes from day to day. It all depends on what he's eaten.
