Ask:
Keep a lunchbox packed with non-meltable food in your vehicle. I have an old lunchbox that I keep stocked with plastic containers of graham crackers, cheerio/cereal mix, fruit snacks, pretzels, granola bars (with no chocolate), Pop Tarts, etc.
I can't tell you how much money I have saved with this lunchbox. Sometimes errands run long, I get stuck in traffic, etc., and I don't have stop to spend money to tide the kids over until we can get home. Instead of stopping at McDonald's, I simply hand my kids the lunchbox and they can snack on that until we get home.
Don't forget to pack something that you like in there too! You can also pack a separate lunchbox with water bottles/juice boxes in case you or your kids forget their drinks while dashing out the door.
Answer:
Great idea! Thank you.
Answer:
I love the lunch box idea! We do have the emergency water bottles that are a must because my children are frequently thirsting to death! I like the snack idea!
We also keep a potty in the back! Never know when you will need one! We line it with plastic bags from the grocery store and we are ready for any emergency from either end!
Answer:
Just be careful of leaving the stuff in your car!!! Here the drinks freeze in the winter and it gets really hot in the summer!!!
