EJ, AKA Elvis DiMera, forces Sami to "serve" him in order to save Lucas' life, then skips town. Then, she beds Lucas. OK: now she will get pregnant, not tell Lucas (she's trying to be a good girl, and every time she tries, some secret brings her down), and the child will be a BRADY-DIMERA!!! Yet another custody fight may ensue. Yet, that secret will drag on for years.
I do wish they would come up with more original ideas.
The assassination of the Philip character actually sickens me. Jay Kenneth Johnson is playing him so cold, and it just is so against what he was during the Chloe days - they're trying to show he's changed by this, but...

I agree with everything you just said. I have only been tuning in once in a while because most of the stories just aren't making any since right now. I really wish Sami and Lucas could just be happy for once, but I don't think that will ever happen.

I agree - I really wish that they would just get them together and let them be happy for once. Also - the baby thing...as least she did "get busy" with Lucas, otherwise she would have ended up pregnant with EJ's child (ya know this is where it's headed) and would have to explain that alone. Either way...they always gotta mess with 'em.
and Phillip....I LOVED when Jay Kenneth Johnson played him before (he is the real Phillip to me) but I DO NOT like what they have made him into. Why even bring him back? YUCK!
I am kinda interested in what they will actually have Belle and Shawn do...I mean co'mon they aren't leaving the show which means that they should end up in jail (like that will happen - both of them??) or they will end up with Claire (I would like to see how they pull that one off? The only think I have on the Max and Mimi thing is that it's been made plain that they've both "been around the block". Did they ever explain whatever happened to that hottie Abby was seeing, Josh? I liked him.
I don't like Brandon Beemer's mouth, but he is getting more comfortable in his role and has toned down the anger/overacting.

I like Max and Mimi together. I DO think that he jumps around quite easily - but then again they all do...it's a soap. I don't think he would look right with Abby...that just seemed weird to me. However - with Mimi leaving the show...Abby and Max may get together yet

Wasn't that the dumbest? No one thought of that, with all the heads involved - especially Belle? They were calling Steve and Kayla for help, and never thought to ask them to pick one up quickly for them. You're right, that was my first inkling, since they usually don't mention such things, and Shawn made the comment to hold her really tight....public service message coming up!
