Does Your Baby's Nursery Have A Theme??

Ask:
Mine never have, and I am about to do the baby's room this weekend. I bought a bedding set and now I am having second thoughts.

Do you have themes??
Answer:

Not really, but I did get all matching bedding. Classic Pooh. I loved this when my first dd was born, but it was too expensive 12 years ago....this time around Target carried it...so much less expensive. The rest of the room is pretty plain. A few Pooh things that we have picked up along the way. And I have some framed Disney lithographs hanging up (those pictures you got free with a purchase of the Disney video, I got those years ago). So, I guess it kinda has a theme...but I didn't go all out. Did not spend a lot of money doing it. Oh and I painted a pictures of two honey bees..and underneath them "buzzing" It reads "Bee Happy". which kinda goes with the pooh thing too, but can be used with anything...
Answer:

We painted the nursery ceiling and all with clouds. Our first time and it turned out great. We chose clouds becuse it could be fit for an older child and an adult. We are not big fans of painting. So when my ds was a baby I did an airplane theme. When he was older we moved him to the other room and now my dd is in the clouds room and we have a garden and angel theme.
Answer:

We sorta have a theme we wanted to go aquarium (sp) but wound up finding some finding nemo reusuable wall stickers but we don't really have much that matches really, not bedding wise anyway we have an alternate bumper and finding nemo fitted sheet. But we can at least take the stickers off the walls if he doesn't like nemo when he's a little older.
Answer:

Dd's is butterflies and dragonflies and is painted pink! I love it. I don't have bright lights in it so when I am rocking her to sleep it just has this warm glowing feeling to it!
Answer:

Never have. Actually we always had the babies in our room for about the first year.
Answer:

I chose Classic Pooh, but didn't go all out. My mom and I stenciled letters and numbers on the wall, and some quotes, and she made a Pooh wall hanging. I'd been collecting stuffed Poohs for years, so I put them in there, and bought him a Classic Pooh and Eeyore from Target.
Answer:

Yes, we have a theme in DS's room. It's the Malawi jungle animals theme. Lots of blue and sage green. I hae the bedding, valences, and even found some wall stickers on eBay to match. I love it! I think its one of the most peaceful rooms in the house. I wonder at what age DS will assert his independence and opinion about wanting to change it up...
Answer:

I went with a beach theme for my son with the Laura Ashley Seaside border. I picked it because it was neutral and wouldn't be to babyish for a toddler. For my daughter I just did plain bedding and pink walls. I couldn't find a theme I liked
Answer:

We just used primary colors. We did have a primary colored balloon set (the whole nursery shabang) that then we used later as a toddler bed set. It was a hard hard thing to sell when it's time came.
