super yummy & easy fettuccine alfredo

Ask:
This stuff goes together easily and tastes like you got it at a restaurant - it's so yummy! I added 1 lb of cooked chicken breast pieces and a 10 oz pkg of chopped broccoli to mine, but you can eat it plain or just with chicken, or add other veggies. Totally versatile and totally yummy!

I doubled the sauce for the roughly 12 ounces of pasta I cooked and it worked out well with adding the chix and broccoli.

Super Yummy Fettuccine Alfredo
Prep: 5 min | Total: 20 min
4 servings, 1 cup each

8 oz fettuccine (no fettuccine? use bowties, etc)
1 1/4 cups chicken broth
4 tsp flour
1/3 cup Philadelphia cream cheese spread (I just used part of a block of cream cheese)
3 Tbsp parmesan cheese, divided
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp parsley
Cook fettuccine as directed on pkg. Meanwhile, combine broth and flour in medium saucepan. Stir in cream cheese spread, 2 Tb of parmesan cheese, nutmeg and pepper. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly with wire whisk until mixture boils and thickens. Toss drained pasta with sauce. (If you're adding any additional ingredients, like chicken or veggies, add now and mix together. Let simmer for a few minutes to merge flavors. Taste. You may need to add a little more pepper.) Sprinkle with remaining 1 Tb of parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve with a salad and garlic bread and you have your own private Olive Garden!
