Ask:
DH and I want to make a little change (hopefully this weekend???) by painting our bathroom. It's just white right now...BO-RING. I was hoping to get a multi-colored striped shower curtain and was thinking a blue-ish color, but just wanted to know what your porcelain palaces were colored. Thanks!
Answer:
Master bath is pale yellow, hall bath is off white with a green leaf border, and the half bathroom on the main floor is pale lavender. We actually just updated that bathroom - replaced the harvest gold sink and toilet with updated white ones. I love it. We can't do much with the color schemes in the other bathrooms because we have the 1970's colored toilets and stuff. Avocado green and blue.
Answer:
my master bath is a coffee color with burgandy accents...the main bath is a earth tone green (didn't think I was going to like it but I LOVE this color) and our full bath downstairs is a earthy blue (it's not bright or too dark) with white accents (kinda nautical)
Answer:
downstairs half bath is a sage green ( I LOVE this color!) Upstairs is a darker green,...I guess Earthy is a good description, and my master bathroom is wall paper from the early 90's that is OK (off white background and some earthy color here and there) , but REALLY needs to be updated...it's just not a priority.
Answer:
Cream walls with aged gold, sage green & taupe/coffee accents.
Answer:
The main floor bath is an icky pale green color and the upstairs....woah...you don't want to go there!!! It is made of this strange waterproof type material that is a greenish with gold stars on it!! Very 50's!!! I am sure it has been there for that long! The down stairs bathroom will be redone before too long. The upstairs though, will probably have to stay for awhile since we are not up for replacing all the wall material right now.
Answer:
I'm not overly fond of any of my bathrooms, but I had those low on the priority list when we were fixing this house in order to move in.
The main bath on the main floor has yellow tiles with blue and orange tile trim, so I painted that bath a soft icy blue.
The spare bath on the main floor is cream and hunter green. Blah.
The master bath upstairs is hunter and cream, too, with tan tile that has ships and willows alternating on the tiles. Very yuck to me, but it is original to the house (1935) and I just don't have the heart to rip it all out yet.
The kids' bath upstairs is white with the reef border.
All the baths have white commodes.

And My bathroom doesn't look any smaller! I think it's b/c of all the white accents.
