My big sister (and this was the last go round) sent me 2 magazine subscribtions, candles, lotions, body wash, and gifts for my kids. She also send me e-cards and emails quite frequently. Has your little sister filled out the questionire(sp?) of what they like and dont like? This is a huge help when it comes to picking out your gifts for them. Also, try to get more personal info out of them such as how many kids, their ages, boys or girl etc. All of this comes in handy. HTH

2) anonymous cards
3) anonymous gift packages
4) PMs through the board
5) Posts on the board
6) weekly messages in the mail
7) pick me ups on bad days ~ e-cards
8) weekly questions about personality
9) hints on who they were as my big sis
10) weekly updates on their life
11) small gifts bought and sent according to the responses in the questionnaire
Just small gestures to let your L'il Sis know you are thinking of them. No one expects any kind of grandeur treatment....just a little "hello" here and there, and a thought that someone cared about them and reached out to them on any given day. That is what means the most to me!

This is what I like the most (don't get me wrong - I like the surprises in the mail just as much as the next girl ) but IMO hearing from them is the most fun, getting to know them and chatting.

With both of my secret sisters, I got such cool gifts. I loved the ones that came spilling out of the boxes with lots of little stuff!! I scrapbook and make cards, so getting a bit of this and that made me happy!! Also, it may sound silly, but one sent me some silky pj's once, and that was SO awesome. Another thing was a plant...FROM A FLORIST....you know, delivered at my door?!?! It was SO cool to get that. I NEVER get flowers delivered!! I still have the plant AND the card.

Last round (my first) I received a magazine subscription which I am still enjoying, an awesome WW cookbook, just simply notes. This round I am receiving e-mails almost daily which has been really fun to try to figure out who my SS is and to get to know her, too.
Don't stress about it! It really is fun and I am sure anything you send will be great!

I have done pretty much what I was told to do...I have made some posts just to say hello....she has already figured me out so I don't have to worry about being secret anymore. For Valentine's day I sent her a nice package...chocolates,perfume,lip gloss.
I have gotten a card from my big sis and 2 e-cards.
