Any ideas for stains on kids clothes???

Ask:
My 6 yr old dd comes home with dirt grinded into all her clothes , she also looks as if she dips her sleeves into her lunch and eats it!!! She just got a new pink outfit and the dirt is just really ground into the bottom, I have used ozyclean, vinegar--nothing is helping--haven't dried them yet waiting to find something. HELP
Answer:

I use shout on all my stains. Maybe you could try pre-treating it in that. Good luck!
Answer:

I mix Dawn dish soap with a little water, and spray to pretreat all my stains. So far it's worked on everything for me. Good Luck!
Answer:

I also use Dawn. I only use "original" blue Dawn, although my sister says it doesn't make a difference...I can't switch.

I don't dilute it and just use it directly on stains and scrub it in with a little baby hairbrush that I keep in my laundry room. Dawn works great for greasy food stains. If I notice any yellowish stains on white items from underarm areas (gross...I know), I use a little bit of dawn and then my clorox bleach pen and scrub it in really well. That works great for that.

As far as dirt and grass, I've found soaking the area with rubbing alcohol (pour some on the area and let it sit for at least 30 minutes) works fabulous for me. I also sometimes scrub the area with Dawn after I've soaked it with alcohol and then launder as usual. It may be the weird fabric that my kids school pants are made out of, but stains come right out.
Answer:

color safe bleach?

I have a messy dd too and I cant always get stains out. I dont get it what the heck does she do roll in the dirt to see how long it takes mommy to clean it!
Answer:

I use a stain stick to pre treat and then I spray on Shout before I put the clothes go into the washer. Works pretty well for me.
Answer:

I rub a bar of Fels Naptha soap on stains!
Answer:

I pre-treat with Shout. I also wash in warm water for my kiddos clothes. I know it uses more energy than cold water but it seems to get the stains out better. Also if you have stains that are oil based (i.e. salad dressing) I use lestoil on it direct to the stain takes it out and even old stains.

Answer:

I know this sounds off the wall but for those really horrible stains I use a tablespoon of Cascade(yes the stuff for you dishwasher) in a bucket of warm water. Soak at least overnight. I have had to repeat the process on some really tough stains, but have rarely had to throw the clothes in the never to be worn again pile.

I have used this before and it works great on baby clothes --gets out all the spitup--to tell you the truth I had forgot about it.
