Ask:
Don't tell us what it is but it's good if you know the number.
Every 1st of the month I write down in an excel sheet all the amounts in our accounts, including retirement accounts, investment accounts, savings and checking, minus all debts, plus just the paid portion of our house.
I don't count cars because they decrease in value or antiques because I never intend to sell them.
It's very motivating seeing that total number go up every month!
Answer:
Heck no!!! I guess it really is not that important to me. I would rather spend my time doing other things.
Answer:
I'm the "I have an idea" gal. I haven't actually put it on paper but I could take a guess. Might be a good thing to do. Thanks for the idea.
Answer:
I have an idea, but it would probably be better if I knew exactly
Answer:
I don't the exact numbers but I have an idea where all our money is.
Answer:
I do something similar but only do it on a quarterly basis. I have a chart in Word where I have listed all of my savings accounts, CDs, etc. and all of my debts. I've been working the last year to 'rearrange' my funds where I want them to be so this has been helpful to see where it was and where it is now.
I also did this as a single woman just in case, God forbid, something happens to be then all of my account #s, etc. are included there so someone else would know what assets and debts I have.
Answer:
Do you know your net worth? Yes
Answer:

Answer:
Nah...I'm a rough figure sort of gal. I know what accts we have and "around" how much each of them have. My dh & I have an invest. acct, I have my own invest acct (from the sale of a house I owned prior to marrying dh) and each of my kids have a small acct. I usually look at the statements to see if they're going up, but don't log it all in or total it all or any of that. I'm probably too lazy.
