I was wondering how to word my birth announcement. My parents recently divorced and live in two different areas now. My mom still has his last name. Dad also recently got married, but I don't really consider her a grandmother yet (is that wrong?!?).
So, would it say:
Proud Grandparents are Dad and Mom LastName of County1 and County2 respectively....or what?

I would list them seperate.
Proud Grandfather and then Proud Grandmother. and their names. I am assuming that most of these will go to people that know the situation and they will figure it out.

I agree. List them seperate. Proud Maternal Grandpa (Name) from (City) and Proud Paternal Grandma (Name) from (City). THat is the way we did for my in laws when we had the newspaper announcements.
