I just finished 2 big projects this week, but they both lead up to even bigger things I need to do.
I, yes call me Handy Ma'am, put up the chair rail in the nursery this week. It had one tricky spot . There was one rounded corner in the room.
Then I put up the crown molding in our bedroom too. Ok, my dh had to help me finish the crown today. I couldn't hold the longer pieces molding up by myself to nail.
The rooms both look awesome. I just need to set my nails and fill in all the cracks. Then it will be time to start painting.
The nusery, where my dd#2 is still in her crib, will be painted navy blue below the rail, white chair rail and tan above the rail. I bought some stars for the walls. The are navy blus, maroon, and mustard yellow. Now I need to find an american fabric to make curtains.
We have lived in our house for over 4 years. We are finally getting things painted and decorated. I am gald we took our time, because our tastes have changed over the years. If we would have done the nursery in the original theme I had for dd #1 I would have hated it now.

I wish I had your motivation! I still have a couple rooms in my house that need finishing, and I just can't muster up the energy to get to them. Luckily they are out-of-the-way rooms, so they can wait until I DO get around to them.
