I did a survey once that said I would get a long distance card in return. Never saw the card, and did start getting a lot of spam after.
I'm sure there are good ones out there though so it might be worth a try. If you have to give your email address maybe set up an extra one that you only use for contests, survey's etc.

I do surveys through Pinecone research and they send me a $5 check for each one.
I also do surveys through NFO My Survey and I have points built up through them for either a check or rewards. I also do product tests through them as well. I really don't make a lot of money, but I like doing the product tests because I get things I would have to buy anyway like baby wipes, laundry detergent, and expensive dog food.
I would never pay money to do surveys...those are the scams. There are lots of legitimate companies out there, but you won't get rich doing it.

There are some really great reputable sties. I have some other online friends that get money all the time. I do mypoints and earn gc. I HAVE gotten the gc, it really works. I just earn enough points for another gc, but I'm gonna save up my points for as many cards as I can get. PM me if you want more info on it!

LIke Spoodler said, you won't get rich.... but there ARE reputable companies out there. I do mypoints (I have redeemed well into the 100's of dollars worth of gift cards in the almost 5 years I've been doing it). NFO (mysurvey) I have redeemed checks from. Survey Spot used to be really good, but I'm not as crazy about them anymore (They used to just send $$ randomly at times) and now they have an account when you get $5 or more you redeem it for a check. Also I have gotten tons of items to 'try and review' baby wipes, detergent, shampoo, body wash etc.
Another good site is BzzAgent.com, they have had some great campaigns lately, I did the Hershey's take-5, pledge duster, sonicare tooth brush and the scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner. You get the product review it, spread the word about it and tell them what you were doing to pass the word around about it.
I definitly think word of mouth is the best way to find legit survey sites. Oh and Pinecone research is a banner you need to click on, it is the only way to join, but I have never seen a banner for it...still looking though!

i do alot of surveys and get paid okay from it. i like inboxdollars and sendearnings. i just finished a survey that i have to mail in and when they mailed it to me the also sent a check for ten dollars. i also belong to tvrewards i like that one to you get gift cards once to twice a week it is very easy. i think every little bit helps. contact me if you want to know more
