it was my anniversary yesterday, and we exchanged gifts last night. we are short on money this moth, with just completing a big and expensive move, so i had to think of a way to make a gift for free or almost free. i work in a lingerie store, and get 50% off, so i bought a small lips shaped box (for valentines) for $3.50... i filled it with tissue from work (free) and wrote him a love letter outlining all of things i love about him, and what he has taught me in the last year. i wrote it on regular paper in red bic pen, in the shape of a heart going round and round. i spent 1.99 on 3 lindt chocolate hearts and that was it. he got me to read the letter out to him, and he almost started crying! that was an awesome gift... so touchign and moving for him, and i got to tell him how much he means to me... all for the low price of 5.50... he ended up getting me a 40$ video game (romantic eh?)... but it was one that i wanted, and i never would have bought for myself.
