That's it) He changed his name back, but kept the symbol. Any guitar is a phallic symbol if you choose to look at it as so!

I think it was just something that happened. That guitar is of his symbol and the shadow didn't help. Although, I doubt he would have changed anything had he known it looked like that...

I totally think that when the shade came up, he purposely did the girating motion with his pelvis and used his guitar as a prop! Granted, it was the symbol of his name, but still...it's Prince, he KNOWS what he's doing...and we all got a good laugh out of it
