Potty Problems Any Suggestions????

Ask:
My Daughter is 3 and has been potty trained for about a year now. She has recently started using the potty whenever and wherever. Not #2 just #1. She does this about 4 times a day. She know that she isn't supposed to do this and my son never did this when we were potty training him. Does anyone have any suggestion on why she might be doing this and maybe how to stop it?!?
Answer:

Is she pulling her panties down and going everywhere. Or is she just wetting herself? Maybe she is trying to hold it longer and can't. My ds did this. He didn't want to leave what he was doing and go. So he just kept trying to hold it. All part of the learning process.
Answer:

maybe she's afraid she's going to miss something and holds it too long, or could she be under some kind of stress, maybe feels like she needs to do it for attention because something has changed?
Answer:

my husband seems to think she may have a medical problem. I am not ruling that thought out but I think it is more she is interested in whatever she is doing. She just wets herself right now. However, she did potty in our vent in the bathroom so I am not sure. I don't think anything has changed but I will definately evaluate our home situation.
Answer:

Try getting her to help clean up her messes and remind we only go on the potty.
Answer:

Hi there Afirkins!!! It's your secretsis

Has she shown any signs of having pain while peeing or unexplained fever at all? I know a little girl that i watched had UTIs every once in awhile and it would make her go potty like that.

Also if it were me i would set a timer and have her go in on the potty every 45 minutes. Have it be storytime when she has to go in and try so she doesn't get upset.

Good luck.
Answer:

If you've ruled out a medical issue, maybe she is too busy to go. My daughter was doing this for awhile because she was too busy to go. I started making a big deal out of it when she made it again and it seemed to make her want to get to the potty again. I have a good girl sticker chart on the refridgerator and I started letting her have a sticker for going potty again.
