Ask:
You're all so sweet, I must say that first.
Well, my Dr's nurse called, and said I should go to the hospital to be monitered to see if I was in labor. I very politely said, "I would know if I was in labor, thanks." (It had been a very long day)
She said she would run it by the dr and call me if he didnt like my idea of staying home. It was fine with him, as long as I wasn't bleeding and as long as nothing got worse. I am going in to see him on Friday, and I am having an ultrasound as well.
I feel EXHAUSTED, but my very gross and disgusting 'problem down there' is not happening anymore. As long as I don't overdo it, I am okay. I AM LITERALLY PUTTING A DENT IN MY BRAND NEW COUCH!! and my house is a wreck. Otherwise, I am fine and I will find out on Friday if they are putting me on bedrest. Lets hope not!

I hope your appointment went okay. I don't want to scare you but I had the same thing happen to me with my 4th pregnancy at 32 weeks pregnant I had lots and lots of pressure (it hurt so bad to walk I was almost in tears), cramping and discharge. I went to L&D, my neighbor convinced me to go, and there they discovered my water had broken at some point. It was a very, very light trickle and if they had not done a fetal fibronectin test (checks to see if you will go into labor within 2 weeks) and had seen the ferning of the amniotic fluid on the slide then I probably would have gone home. Luckily they were able to keep me pregnant for another 4 weeks at the hospital, on bedrest, and my baby was a healthy 36 weeker.
Just please take care of yourself. It might not hurt to go to L&D, even if you're not in labor. The day I had dd I'd had cramps off and on and didn't think anything of it. When they put me on the fetal monitor (I was monitered twice a day at the hospital) they discovered I was in labor. I didn't think I was because I slept through most of it, only the last 2 hours were painful, and it didn't feel like "labor". I kept thinking "wish the other 3 would have been this easy!".
