Do you keep a table cloth on your table? I noticed that I put one on for holidays and special occassions, but I don't have one on for every day use. I think they look great, but I guess it just adds one more item to my laundry basket.

I always have a table cloth on and candles lit. Dinner is my favorite part of the day and I think it just looks more special. I do hate when the boys use it for a napkin though..lol

I keep one on all year round- I put "holiday" ones on and them just a plain colored one the rest of the time- I use those vinyl ones were I just wipe them off. No extra work and when they start to look gross- in the trash they go
I plan on doing this until my kids are older and hofefully I have do a good job in protecting the table.

I always keep a table cloth on my dining room table, but we almost never eat there. We usually eat off an oval wood table in our kitchen area and I've never had a table cloth on that.

We eat in our dining room, which is pretty formal, every night. I like the idea of a table cloth on for our meals, but I think of Parker and his less-than-neat little self, and I cringe. Yet, the thought of a vinyl cover in our formal dining room doesn't seem to fit either. I may just have to buck up and go back to table cloth every day. I used to do it, but once we had 3 little ones sitting around the table, I shyed away.

I don't keep a cloth on our formal table, I prefer the look of the wood. When we do have a meal there (dinner party, holiday event etc), I use one of my big cloths put to tell you the truth, they're all pretty old heirloom cloths and they're beautiful but expensive to clean!
On our kitchen table, sometimes I have a cloth on it and sometimes I don't, it just depends on my mood. I am one of those people that if there is a speck of food or a spill on the cloth...it HAS to come off! It's just a basic round table, so it's easy to find cloths for it and I have a whole bunch.

I used to use a vinyl cloth on our table, but removed it when my toddler started to walk.

Does anyone know of any good places to buy vinyl table cloths? I can't find real stylish ones very often.
