We were told not to use regular cleaners - but I can't find anything that says it's safe on laminate wood flooring either.

My mom has laminate flooring, and she buys something at Lowe's that's for it. I can't remember what it's called though. But maybe you could call them and ask if they have something to clean laminate floors, and they could tell you what it's called. HTH

I use this product called Bona X Swedish Formula, Hard Surface Floor Cleaner. It cleans all: laminate flooring (such as Pergo), ceramic, vinyl, marble, and granite. I really like it because it doesn't leave any streaks on the floor. My dh picked it up at Ace Hardware. It comes in a spray bottle and after you have vacuumed or swept you spray it on the floor, or the mop and clean one area at a time.
