Did your baby have hair?

Ask:
6 of mine had full heads of hair!!! My 6th out of 7 children was bald until he was about a year old. Now he has the thickest head of red curls you have ever seen!! We were shocked when my first child was born and she had a full head of red hair, because no baby in my family had ever had hair before!! Heck, with my 2nd dd I was pulling her hair back out of her face by the time she was about 4 months old!
Answer:

my ds had hair but not a ton just the right amount i think. and i don't think he's lost any yet!
Answer:

Both my sons were bald. Both my dd had hair. Go figure.
Answer:

my first two had hair...but my last one is 17 mos old and still has very little hair!
Answer:

All of mine have had hair...but only the youngest 3 did the hair falling out thing that most babies do! (And only two of them lost most or all of it!) My oldest was born with platinum blonde..an unusual color for infants. It was in layers..some long enough to do a ponytail, others sticking out everyway. It was hideous! I actually (gasp!) thought about cutting it all off and letting it grow evenly. I didn't, though..and by 9 months, it was under control. My second child, my oldest son, had hair like an orangatang. It was that burnt dark orange/red and stuck out like he had put his finger in an electric outlet. Funny enough, by six months, he was strawberry blonde, and by 9 months, a complete towhead! And, his dark hair never fell out at all. At his two month check up, the dr. told me he "expected" a haircut before his four month check up!!! He got it, too, at 3 1/2 months...a full bowl cut! NO KIDDING. I had no choice. As the hair grew, we kept cutting, and although for a while he had these "tips" of dark in his blonde, it really wasn't that noticeable. My third child had not as much hair..but black, for the first time. Hers eventually went dark brown, but it never fell out or stuck everywhere. My next two were born with black...one went all the way bald, and one just got that big bald spot in the back. The older one, my son, ended up to be blonde, while the younger, another girl, has light brown. My youngest was born with light red hair..but it quickly fell out. She was bald, bless her heart, for months, and when it finally came in...good gracious was it awful! I did everything I knew to do, but it took until she was a year old not to have it in every which direction...with a hairbow snapped right in the middle!
Answer:

All three had tons of hair, even my little boy who is very blond. With my first dd, you could even see all her hair on a late ultrasound! The girls could both wear pigtails around four months. None of them lost any hair at all even though everyone kept saying they would. They also all managed to avoid the dreaded bald spot on the back of their head. The downside was that I always needed to wash their hair to get out the food they smeared in it!
Answer:

All five had hair, the oldest had blonde, just the perfect amount and didn't loose it. My second baby, she had black hair, didn't loose it. Third baby, she had red hair didn't loose it. Fourth had blonde hair, didn't loose it. Fifth had red hair, and didn't loose it. All three of my boys have naturally curly hair, one of my girls has a lot of wave to her hair, and my other girl has stick straight hair that won't curl for anything. My youngest's hair is still red though, he gets it from me.

Answer:

None of my kids start growing hair until they are 2 years old. They have the slightest amount of hair when they are born, but nothing grows until after they are 2. Go figure...
Answer:

Um, yes they both had hair on their heads and poor dd had a back full as well. The Drs kept telling me that it would go away, but at 3 it is still there and my neices tell me that at 18 & 14 theirs is still there as well! If she ever asks, I'll gladly allow her to have it removed by laser. Her daddy says he'll go with her and it can be a father daughter bonding experience!

Oh, she has fine, straight hair that didn't really grow in well until after she turned 2 while ds is only 1 and has a head full with curls at the nape of his neck!
Answer:

My son was born with a full, dark head of hair, which he lost all of by 1 yr, and grew in fine blonde hair. Now, at six, he has thick, gorgeous bronze colored hair any girl would long for.

DD was born with dark blonde hair w/light blonde highlights! A full head! It is now gorgeous, lucky kid. In the sun, it turns coppery; otherwise it looks like a medium blonde w/light blonde hilights. It's long, about halfway down her back at 18 months and is wavy. Also, when she was very young, I simply cut out tangles - I now comb them out, but it's resulted in her having these cute layers that do Shirley Temple loops at the nape of her neck. Very cute. I thought for sure, w/all the hair she was born with, she would lose it all by one year, but nope!
