I came down with pneumonia a couple of months back and the meds must have affected my bc pills. I got a call from the doc a couple of days ago after my routine check up and she asked me if i knew i was pregnant? I thought she was joking. DH and i just went through the counseling for the "Big V" and freecycled all of our baby stuff at the beginning of the year. So...now we're expecting number 3. haha I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I no longer have a crib or any baby stuff...let alone maternity clothes. I guess now i know why my pants are a little snug.

oh wow! i think i'd feel the same way, having just gotten rid of everything. did the dr ask if you were taking and kind of bc to make sure the meds didn't hurt the effectiveness of your bc?

Wow! Was it antibiotics? Because my Dr. warns me that it affects the effectiveness of bc pills, but I never knew anyone it actually happened to. Congratulations!

One of my friends had that happen to her. I guess it was meant to be, with it being your 3rd maybe someone will give you a shower. Congrats, I am sure it will all work out for you.
