I Tivo'd it last night and watched it today. It was a great episode! The boyfriend wanted drugs from the mom's stash (since she was a pharmaceutical rep) and when she wouldn't give them to him, she started yelling for someone to call the police, and he killed her. The daughter had gone there with the boyfriend and went to her room to lay down while her boyfriend was doing all of this (unbeknownst to her). When she saw what he did, she freaked out and went back to his place with him to get away; that's why the dad saw her - she was coming out of her room to leave with the boyfriend. She was given truth serum which is how they got all this info. When they figured all this out, Elliot and Olivia went after him, he ran,, and Elliot had to restrain him and the kid died right there. Internal Affairs was investigating, and Olivia stood up for him 150% in every interview they did with her. It turned out that Elliot didn't kill him - it was some sort of heart condition. The big news is, after he was cleared, Elliot went back to his wife at the end! I am curious about what the fallout will be with Olivia, since I'm sure she has feelings for him.
