Cube steak ideas?

Ask:
Well, i have some cube steaks laid out. I was going to just fry them. But I decided I didnt want to fry them. Now I dont have any ideas. Usually if I dont fry them I just cook them with some cream of mushroom soup and serve with mashed potatoes. I dont know what else I could do with them. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Lacy
Answer:

is cube steak sorta like round steak?? cause if it is you can bread it with some flour (add pepper) and cook it up. then use the grease from the steak and make gravy out of it with some milk and more flour again add pepper. Make come mashed potatoes for the gravy. MMMM that sounds so good just talking about that is one of my very favorite meals!
Answer:

This is probably a little late now for you but I always make "smothered steak" with cubed steak. I dip it in flower and throw it in the crock pot with green beans, bellpeppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, Soy sauce, brown sugar and some other stuff I can't think of right now. It's a family favorite and pretty easy
Answer:

cube steak parmasean

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 eggs
2 tablespoons water
1/3 cup crushed saltine crackers
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 (4 ounce) beef cube steaks
1 1/4 cups canned tomato sauce
2 1/4 teaspoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, divided
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
4 slices mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 .In a shallow dish, stir together the flour, salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and water with a fork. In a third bowl, or shallow dish, mix together the cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese and basil.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Dredge the cube steaks in the seasoned flour, dip into the egg mixture, and coat with the cracker crumb mixture. Place them in the skillet, and fry just until browned on each side. Arrange steaks in a single layer in a greased casserole dish.
Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, stir together the tomato sauce, sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of oregano, and garlic powder. Spoon over steaks when the 25 minutes are up. Top each steak with mozzarella cheese and remaining Parmesan cheese; sprinkle remaining oregano over the top. Bake for 5 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted, and the sauce is hot.
