My daughter has a favorite toy I thought I would share with you. It is call a Webkinz. They are cute beanies baby like toys that are animals that cost about $10 but give you a full years access to Webkinz world. It is a fun safe area for kids to play online. They get to set a house for their virtual pet that looks like their Webkinz. They also have to play with it, feed, dress it etc. It is lots of fun. They even have areas in the Webkinz world to play games, complete jobs and such to earn money to care for your pet. It helps teach a little about money to because they have to make sure they have enough money to care for their pet and if they don't they need to sell items back to the store to get money.
I think they are great They teach many good lessons and the only way to communicate with others in the world is using a pull down menu to select something to tell another person. It is a fun safe way to learn about the internet and since you get a years worth of play online and an animal for $10 it is a great frugal toy.
