As far as breakfast comes every kid would love to have pancakes and waffles to eat. I found that if you buy the big box of Bisquik that these things can be very inexpensive and a great Saturday treat for the kids.

I wanted to add that today I made waffles and I heated my waffle maker up while I mixed the ingredients and for a family size batch I was done with food on the table in about fifteen minutes. So cost effective and time effective too.
