Ask:
I took it to the laundromat & put it in a BIG washer w/soap & fabric softener (vinegar) just like any other load.
Then I run it thru the BIG dryer for 45 mins, then brought it home & finished it off.
Good as if I'd taken it to be cleaned.

great advice. did you say you used vinegar for fabric softener? what kind? Anyways, I need to do this, usually we do it at home but they get lumpy and since we have a newer one, I'd like to keep it in good shape without it costing a fortune. usually I just use the duvet cover and then wash that. ???

i do this all the time get a can of new tennis balls and throw them in with it in the dryer they dry faster and get fluffed all at once thats what we did when i worked at a drycleaners!!

I like that idea. I;ve never thought of that. We ussually wash ours in the BIG washers at the laundromat, too.

The cleaners can be so expensive! So it's good you were able to wash it yourself.

I'd like to try this, but I'm not sure what & is? You just wash it w/ detergent and a little vinegar? If anyone has any tips, I'd be glad to take suggestions
