Consuming too Much

Ask:
What are you guilty of?

Me- those twenty minute showers (when I can get one)- love those.

Food- chocolate chips are my weakness

Free samples- I've eased way up on these, though I still like to get them. But looking at the ton of packaging for each one- that makes me feel bad for the earth.
Answer:

Computer time. I spend too much time reading emails and forums!

Food- I eat too many snacky type things, usually a salty and a sweet.

AND Magazines/paper. I can not seem to make myself get rid of it.
Answer:

Gasoline. Back when gas hit $3 a gallon, a circuit blew in my head. I was definately paying more at the pump, but not that much more. I decided it wasn't worth fretting about - pennies here or there in the price of a gallon - or denying myself a fun activity because it was a few miles farther than I wanted to drive.

Don't get me wrong. I do try to buy vehicles with decent gas mileage. I drive a minivan, though, not a subcompact. It could be better. I could be a lot worse. I also am not a gas hog in the sense that I don't jump into my car for every little thing. I definately plan my trips and don't drive around town just to drive around. Anyone remember going on with your family on 'Sunday drives'? No one does that anymore. But when DD wanted to take ski lessons I was willing to drive her up the mountain once a week so she could. It wasn't the cheapest sport she's every tried but the cost of the extra gas was the least of it.
Answer:

Baby wipes
Paper Towels
Toys
DVDs (mostly for kids)
Snack containers (pudding & yogurt)
Baby food containers (I pureed food for #1 but #2 won't eat homemade food)
Gasoline - in the summer months - we try to conserve but we have a small ski boat
Answer:

My big one is the shower too! that is the one place I can find that is MINE!! So, yes I am very guilty of taking 20-30 minute showers a few times a week. I know I need to cut back, but I enjoy them so much!!

Also, all the packaging in foods, grocery store bags, toys

Wipes- baby and cleaning. I try to not use as much as I have in the past, espcially with cleaning wipes. But, to be honset i really like the Lysol wipes in the bathroom since I have a child not quite adept at tinkling (I keep them on the toilet for clean-ups) and also when we are out and I need to wipe down something.
