I have some change to cash in and I have always used the Coin Star machines at the front of grocery stores but this time I was thinking I'd turn the change into a gift card so that they waive the counting fee.
My question is: Is Coin Star worth it or should I just buy the wrappers and do it myself?

I did the Coin Star 1 time, I hated that they took out a % of the money. So I went to walmart, bought a pack of $$ wrappers and then next time I took the rolled change to my bank. It did take a more time, to roll up the change, but it I got to keep every cent of my money. HTH
