I have mom's group on Wed. and it's my turn to bring snack. We have two preg. ladies who have gestational diabetes, and it was mentioned to keep them in mind when bringing your snack.
I have no idea what to bring....
any ideas??? Help!

What about something simple like a veggie platter with dip, or cheese and crackers? I had diabetes with my first daughter and these were some of my faves.

those sound so yummy...but I forgot to mention it's at 9:30 in the morning.... is that too weird to bring for something that time of day? It's just such a weird time to have to bring a snack altogether IMO.

At that time of morning, I might just bring muffins and a fruit platter or fruit salad. If they can't eat the muffins, they can probably nibble on some fruit.

Fruit and muffins are a great idea as well as bagels and cream cheese. Trail mix as well they havesome fruity ones out they are really good.

How about some sort of breakfast casserole and biscuits. Or mini breakfast type quiches

9 in the morning then how about muffins and a bowl of cut up fruit?They can pick in the fruit of what they can have and you can pick up or make 6 sugar free muffins?And you can make the rest of them.
