I was waiting for DD to get out of school today and was in the pick up line and that song "Alyssa Lies" came on the radio...I had not heard it until today, and someone had posted about it awhile ago, including the words to it and I said I didn't want to hear it.
Can I just tell you, I was so embarrassed to be sitting there in front of DD school, crying...UNTIL the lady in front of me got out of her car and came back to talk to me and asked, "you were just listening to 103.7 weren't you?" She heard it come on and looked around b/c she knew she was going to cry over it (Apparently she was familiar with the song), and she caught sight of me in her rear view. Guess I was in good company. What a sad, sad, sad, song......

I hadn't heard it until yesterday when my daughter showed me the video on youtube. The pictures were so disturbing, I could barely pay attention to the song.
